The theme of the 8th annual VELIM seminar in 2005 was the Limits of language, communication and narrative. This seminar occurred in conjunction with the 3rd international interdisciplinary conference on Communication, Medicine and Ethics (COMET). The theme of the wider conference was Diversity of discourse communities in health: Power, politics and risk.
